As a hospitalist that practices throughout a part of the country where IV drug use is pervasive, I often get patients that need long term antibiotics. I can't safely discharge them home with a PICC, so they sit in the hospital for weeks or months, costing the hospital & insurance company money, and the patient time.

This device solves that problem.
